Batu Caves

Let me start first with Batu caves. As I already explained, this is the cheapest place to visit and the ticket to this place from KL setral is just 1 RM. This place shoot to fame among the young generation in south India by its presence in the recent film "Billa". It is a collection of caves which host a Murugan temple. You have to be fit enough as you have to climb many steps to reach the caves. Honestly, I didnt go there to pray and neither did I after going there, but there are many people who come there to pray and the crowd is overwhelming during the thaipusam festival in Febraury each year. My visit to this place to be frank is incomplete as I didnt go to the Dark caves which will cost me around 40 RM, where we will be taken into a dark cave with natural limestone formation.

To summarize, a place worth a visit and affordable. I loved it and it gives some peace to my mind. Hope you will also find it pleasent.
